Beautiful countryside location, peaceful and relaxing. Comfiest bed in a rental property, slept like a log! No phone or wi-fi - ultimate bliss! Thoughtful touches like heated blankets, electricity, and a welcome bottle of prosecco. Electric shower and log burner for cozy comfort. Fantastic for nature getaways.

The location of this cozy lodge was absolutely stunning. We were surrounded by beautiful countryside and could truly escape from the world. The isolation added to the romantic atmosphere and allowed us to have privacy during our stay. The lodge itself was adorable and had everything we needed. The log burner kept us warm even on cold nights, and the electric blanket was a delightful surprise. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and they made sure we had enough wood for the fire throughout our stay.
The lack of bathroom convenience, especially for someone who is pregnant like me. Having to make frequent trips to the bathroom in the dark and wet weather was a bit frustrating.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy lodge! The owners went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even had the wood burning fire ready for us on arrival. The lodge itself was spotless and had a lovely decor. We enjoyed the peaceful location and the opportunity to disconnect from the world without WiFi or phone signal. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable with electric blankets. The owners even provided extra blankets and cushions for added coziness. Despite the November weather, we managed to take a nice walk around the beautiful grounds. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this lodge for a peaceful getaway.

The chalet itself was cute and cosy, with a log burner and electric blanket to keep us warm in the chilly weather. The kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to cook a nice steak dinner. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with luxurious bedding that I absolutely adored. The location was perfect for exploring Perth&Kinross and Fife, and we loved the feeling of being off the beaten track and disconnected from the world. The host was friendly and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great stay.
The bathroom situation, particularly for someone like me who is 6 months pregnant. Having to trek to the bathroom in the dark and soggy grass was frustrating, especially on a miserable and wet night.

Although the eco toilet took some getting used to, it wasn't a major issue. Additionally, the lack of phone signal may bother some, but for us, it was a welcomed break from technology.
